For sale: one conservatory blind, cream, electric, operated by a remote control that has never once been in the same room as the blind. It goes up when you ask it to go down and sideways when you give up entirely. Buyer collects, and buyer may wish to bring a ladder and a philosophy.

- Wanted: anyone who was standing near the bus shelter on Churchway on Thursday morning and heard a man describe, at length and with total accuracy, the entire history of narrow gauge railway signalling. I was late for an appointment and had to leave at the point where it got good. I would simply like to know how it ends, and I am prepared to buy the coffee.Box C017
- Free to a good home: a greenhouse, dismantled, currently in forty one numbered pieces and one unnumbered piece that we think is structural. The instructions were lost in a house move in a decade we no longer discuss. Take the lot, take your time, take the unnumbered piece very seriously.Box C018
