Corrections and complaints

Most of what we print is wrong on purpose, and we stand by that. This page is for the times we are wrong by accident.

What we correct

• A real fact in a straight report: a date, a time, a price, a venue.
• The details of a real event, sports result or community listing that we have got wrong.
• Anything that has landed on a real person or business in a way it should not have, whatever we meant by it.
• A photo of yours that you would like taken down.

What is not a mistake

An invented story being invented. That is the product. If a story seems to be about you, though, and you did not ask to be in it, that is a complaint and we treat it as one.

How to tell us

Email corrections@haddenham.news with the address of the story (copy it from the top of your browser) and what is wrong. If you can say what it should say instead, it gets fixed faster. Being cross is allowed.

What happens next

We read every message and look at it properly. If we agree, the story is corrected or comes down, and the correction is listed below.
