I am the person who mows the strip of grass outside the church that belongs to nobody, and I have done it for nine years with no thanks and no permission, and I have come to understand this is the closest thing I have to a legacy. Last month somebody parked on it and I thought about it for eleven days. Seeking someone who will one day be trusted with the mower.
