Place your own advert

Real submissions run alongside our fictional regulars. Write it in your own voice, exactly as you mean it: that is what makes it funny. We only trim for length. Reply to any advert works via its reference number, which we send you once it runs.

Your advert

Up to 120 words.

Your name (kept private, never published) Your email (kept private, never published: we send your reference number and approval link here, and pass replies on) I am 18 or over. I agree that The Haddenham Herald may keep my details and publish my advert as I have written it, trimmed only if it is too long, without my name. My email is used only to send me my reference number and to pass on replies. My advert keeps its own page at haddenham.news with its reference number, after it comes off the main column, and readers can pass that page on. What I send may be checked by an AI service for anything defamatory or harmful before an editor reads it. I have read the privacy notice (opens in a new tab).

The rules for anything you send us (opens in a new tab)

Nothing you send is published without review. Safeguarding or a report involving a child: don't use this portal. Contact Buckinghamshire Council or the police directly; the numbers are on our Contact page.
